Make your business easy to understand
Explain what you do, where you operate, when you are available and how to contact you. Keep this consistent across the website and business listings. Important information should be readable text, not only an image. Create service pages when they answer different questions, not copied pages with a city name swapped.
Understand local ranking factors
Google describes local results in terms of relevance, distance and prominence. Complete details help Google understand a business, but an agency cannot remove distance. Eligibility and verification matter. Keep Business Profile ownership with the business and grant only necessary management access.
AI visibility is not a guarantee
Google says established SEO practices remain relevant to AI features and no special AI markup is required. Clear structure, useful original information and crawlable pages are a sensible foundation, not guaranteed inclusion. Different AI services use different systems; a result on one platform does not prove visibility everywhere.
Measure the path to a real enquiry
Separate visibility, visits, contact clicks, enquiries and appointments. A telephone-link click does not prove a completed call. Begin with verifiable data and explain its limits. Finding that a form never reaches the owner may be more immediately useful than publishing another generic article.
